Declares Kenya focuses on reshaping climate narratives and conversations at local grass roots levels. We mobilize the voices of young people in the pastoral communities and movements of key rightsholders, these narratives connect to peoples’ emotions and inspire behavioral change. This focus area harnesses the power of the youth and civil society stakeholders to change dominant or mainstream narratives that legitimize the status quo and existing power dynamics when it comes to climate change adaptation and Justice.
Our Main aim objective is to:
To raise awareness and understanding of climate change, while providing a strong focus on empowering rural youth and women to take an active role in the solutions to environmental challenges.
To create awareness and ensure youth and women Understand the role of citizens, public land management agencies, and non-governmental organizations in protecting and conserving natural resources.
